FENG FENG HUTCHINS was born and raised in Sarawak on the island of Borneo. Her first picture book, PLENTY SAIMIN was published by Island Paradise Publishing, USA. It was awarded the Ka Palapala Po‘okela Award for Children's Literature, Hawaii. Feng Feng also writes plays and one of her plays won the Resident Prize of the 2009 playwriting contest at Kumu Kahua Theatre. She has recently completed a collection of stories for young readers that celebrate the various festivals and cultural activities in Malaysia. Feng Feng lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her husband and two children.

FENGYI LAI comes from Malacca. She loves drawing buildings, especially old design buildings like the Malacca Old Shop-houses, where she grew up. She also loves cartoon and storybooks and enjoys creating stories and worlds of imagination.
